Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.What you will do:As an assistant service engineer (Industrial Refrigeration), you will work carry out service, preventive maintenance, commissioning, overhaul, troubleshooting, installation, warranty repair, and other specialist activities on Johnson Controls and third-party industrial refrigeration systemsHow you will do it:Ensure service work is completed efficiently while minimizing repeat visits and warranty costsIdentify potential service, repair, upgrade, and modernization opportunities and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders.Support and coordinate subcontractors working on behalf of Johnson ControlsMaintain service vehicle (if any) and any other tools and/or equipment assigned to you in good conditionDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships to support customer retention and identify service opportunities.Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all work sites, including contractors and third-party personnelParticipate in an after-hours standby and emergency response roster as requiredPerform all service activities in compliance with company safety policies, customer requirements, and local regulationsConduct risk assessments and implement safe work practices before commencing workGenerate accurate and timely service reports, including findings, corrective actions, recommendations, and follow-up requirementsUtilize digital service management systems, mobile applications, and reporting tools to document service activitiesInvestigate equipment failures and support root-cause analysis to improve reliability and customer uptimeSupport senior engineers in providing technical recommendations to customers regarding equipment reliability, performance, and maintenance requirements.Willingness to travel to customer sites across Singapore and occasionally within the region when requiredPerform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management consistent with the roleWhat we look for:Basic understanding of refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systemsBasic knowledge of screw, centrifugal, and reciprocating compressorsBasic electrical and controls knowledgeASHRAE standards (preferred)Refrigerant handling and safe work practices (preferred)Health, safety, and safe work practicesPC skills - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), EmailStrong willingness to learn and develop technical skillsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamSafety-conscious mindsetPositive attitude and customer-focused approachWhat we offer:Competitive salaryPaid vacation/holidays/sick timeComprehensive benefits packageOn the job/cross training opportunitiesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy#LI-CK1#LI-Onsite
