You'll play a key role in designing, programming, testing, commissioning, and supporting both new and existing building automation systems while ensuring exceptional customer outcomes and compliance with quality standards.This position offers a blend of technical leadership, project delivery, and customer engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges and mentoring others.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of project design documentation, including point lists, system schedules, equipment schedules, and technical drawings.Design, develop, and implement control strategies and software programming for Johnson Controls and third-party systems.Conduct software testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.Design and develop graphical user interfaces for new and existing BMS installations.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and software issues, providing technical expertise and guidance to customers and internal teams.Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure successful delivery, scope management, and project profitability.Build strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and a deep understanding of operational and business requirements.Support the sales process by providing technical reviews, recommendations, and engineering expertise during bid and proposal stages.Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, technicians, and apprentices.About YouYou are a technically strong and customer-focused engineering professional who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys delivering innovative solutions.To be successful, you will have:5+ years' experience in a Building Management Systems (BMS/BMCS) or Controls Engineering roleDegree qualification in Engineering or a related technical disciplineStrong knowledge of HVAC controls, building automation systems, and associated technologiesExperience programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting BMS solutionsSolid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and server environmentsPrevious experience delivering commercial building projects across installation, upgrades, and service environmentsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Excel, and PowerPointA collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomesHighly RegardedExperience within commercial HVAC environmentsExposure to digital building technologies, analytics, and smart building solutionsReady to Make an Impact?If you're looking to join a global leader where your expertise will be valued and your career can continue to grow, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now or contact Janis Sotelo for a confidential discussion at janis.sotelo@jci.com.JCI’s Diversity & Inclusion Our dedication to diversity and inclusion starts with our values.
