TITLE- Fire Service Technician: Commercial MarineLocation – MumbaiWhat you will doHands on Diagnose and rectification of defects in Addressable and Conventional Fire Detection systems onboard ships.Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDSPerform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS.Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program changes, upload/download.How you will do itInterpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting.Apply control philosophy knowledge to implement retrofit solutions.Analyze onboard logbook data to identify and resolve system defects.Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational excellence.What we look forEducation: Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics EngineeringExperience: 5–7 years of hands-on service experience in AFDS RequiredExpertise in trouble shooting Addressable & Conventional Fire Detection Systems like Tyco/Siemens/Notifier/Optronic/Consolieum etcGood communication and report-writing abilities.Willingness to travel across Indian ports.PreferredExperience of Commercial Marine conventional/addressable fire detection systems
