Job Description

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Equipment Service Technician with 8+ years of hands-on experience in servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in HVAC equipment, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to independently handle service operations, customer interactions, and critical breakdowns.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system faults.Service and maintain:Chillers (Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled)VRF/VRV SystemsAHUs (Air Handling Units)FCUs (Fan Coil Units)Package UnitsPrecision Air Conditioning UnitsDX UnitsSplit & Cassette ACsCooling TowersHVAC Control Systems & BMS InterfacesConduct commissioning, testing, balancing, and performance optimization of HVAC systems.Lead and support installation, retrofit, and upgrade projects.Attend emergency breakdown calls and ensure minimal downtime.Analyze service issues and recommend long-term corrective actions.Maintain accurate service documentation, inspection reports, and maintenance records.Coordinate with clients, project teams, vendors, and OEM representatives.Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures.Guide and mentor junior technicians and service engineers.Required QualificationsITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related discipline.HVAC, Refrigeration, or Safety certifications are preferred.Valid driving license preferred.Experience & Technical SkillsMinimum 8+ years of experience in HVAC equipment service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Strong experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems.Expertise in refrigeration cycles, compressors, pumps, motors, controls, and HVAC electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical drawings.Hands-on experience with commissioning and fault diagnostics.Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation controls.Strong knowledge of HVAC safety standards and best maintenance practices.Proficiency in preparing service reports and maintenance documentation.CompetenciesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsCustomer-focused approachTeam leadership and mentoring abilityEffective communication skillsAbility to work independently under pressureTime management and problem-solving skillsCompensation & BenefitsAttractive salary based on experience and technical expertisePerformance incentivesTravel and field allowancesMedical insurance and statutory benefitsTraining and career advancement opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related discipline. (degree in mechanical engineering)
  • HVAC, Refrigeration, or Safety certifications are preferred. (certification)
  • Valid driving license preferred. (experience)
