Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. (experience)
• At least 7 years of commercial and industrial HVAC experience. (experience, 7 years)
• Experience leading mechanical installation or retrofit projects in the field. (experience)
• Demonstrated experience supervising technicians, field personnel, and subcontractors. (experience)
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, mechanical retrofit and replacement work, installation practices, and system troubleshooting. (experience)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and equipment submittals. (experience)
• Working knowledge of HVAC control systems. (experience)
• Experience with project scheduling, workforce planning, labor forecasting, and basic cost control. (experience)
• Strong communication, planning, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments. (experience)
• Ability to work in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and plant environments, access rooftops, mechanical rooms, and active construction sites, and travel throughout the assigned service area as needed. (experience)
• Flexibility to support early mornings, evenings, weekends, and emergency response situations when project demands require it. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and subcontractors on commercial and industrial HVAC installation, retrofit, and mechanical service projects.
• Plan daily work, assign manpower, and adjust resources to maintain schedule commitments and productive field execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and scope documents to confirm installation requirements and field readiness.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment logistics, site access, and subcontractor activities.
• Troubleshoot field issues, resolve constraints, and make timely decisions to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
• Support estimating efforts through field assessments, walk-throughs, labor forecasting, quote reviews, and scope validation.
• Monitor labor productivity, material use, budget performance, and scope changes, and escalate risks or cost impacts early.
• Serve as a primary field contact for customers, vendors, internal teams, and subcontractors during project execution.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct jobsite safety meetings and inspections, and verify that crews use proper PPE and safe work practices.
• Maintain quality control, verify work against design requirements and manufacturer recommendations, and support punch list and closeout activities.
