Shift Availability, Pay, Differentials & BonusWe are currently hiring across multiple shifts. Join us as a Machine Operator and help build high-quality air conditioning units that keep homes and businesses comfortable year-round.In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with equipment such as Brake Press, CNC Turret, and other production machinery. Whether you're experienced or looking to grow your skills, you’ll be part of a supportive, safety-first environment with opportunities for advancement.Sets up and operates metal fabricating machines such as brakes, shears, presses, and other production equipment to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural components used in air conditioning unit production.What you will doOperate and perform basic machine setup with minimal supervisionRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and shop ordersFabricate, cut, shape, drill, and form metal workpieces to precise specificationsSelect, position, and secure tooling, fixtures, stops, and guides onto machinesAdjust machine controls including pressure, speed, depth, and blade anglePosition and align workpieces using layout marks, dies, and cutting toolsStart and monitor machine operation and make adjustments as neededPerform inspections and measurements to ensure quality standards are metDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditionsLabel finished parts and move them to proper storage locationsDocument deviations and take corrective action as neededPerform routine operator preventative maintenance on equipmentMaintain clean, organized work areas (5S)Communicate effectively with team members and leadershipAssist in training new employees as neededFollow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and report unsafe conditions or incidentsHow you will do itApply knowledge of metal fabrication processes to safely and efficiently operate machineryFollow instructions from blueprints, work orders, and production systemsTroubleshoot equipment or process issues and escalate when neededWork collaboratively across departments and shifts to meet production goalsUtilize ERP systems and basic computer tools to support production trackingMaintain flexibility to support overtime or shift changes when neededDemonstrate a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivityWhat we look for To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.High school diploma or GED requiredTechnical training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience preferred2+ years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsBasic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMilitary experience or technical training in the armed forces is preferredLANGUAGE ABILITYAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (i.e. safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, shop-floor paperwork, and procedure manuals). Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATH ABILITYAbility to perform basic math functions, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements.COMPUTER SKILLSBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.CERTIFICATES & LICENSESForklift certification may be required and must be obtained within three (3) months if applicable.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. Responsibilities
