What you will doWe are seeking a Project Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing basic required system field devices and performing commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools. You will also troubleshoot and resolve system problems and respond to basic warranty calls. The Project Technician will keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues as necessary.How you will do itInstall security system field devices as required for project completionCommission newly installed devices using standard configuration and commissioning toolsTroubleshoot and resolve basic system issuesRespond to and resolve warranty calls within service level agreementsMaintain clear and timely communication with Johnson Controls personnel, contractors, and customers on job progress, challenges, and resolutionsEnsure all work is completed in accordance with standards, protocols, and safety requirementsComplete all required documentation accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain tools and equipment in clean and working orderWhat we look forBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceMinimum of 4 years of experience in electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of field devices and systemsFamiliarity with standard electrical/system concept, configuration and commissioning toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThis role is based in Batu Kawan.#LI-WH1#LI-Onsite
