What you will do:The Senior Project Engineer (HVAC) is responsible for managing and coordinating the engineering, technical, and site execution aspects of HVAC works for large‑scale data center and critical facility projects. The role supports the Project Manager to ensure safe, timely, compliant, and high‑quality project delivery, from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.How you will do it:Engineering & Technical ManagementCoordinate HVAC design development, shop drawings, material submissions, and method statementsReview and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and standardsResolve technical issues related to chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, ducting, pipework, and ventilationInterface with consultants and clients to address technical queries and design clarificationsSite Execution & CoordinationManage day‑to‑day HVAC site activities to ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and schedulesCoordinate with main contractor, MEP trades, CSA teams, vendors, and subcontractorsMonitor work progress and ensure alignment with the approved project programSupport site supervision teams to ensure installation quality and workmanship standardsTesting, Commissioning & HandoverCoordinate pre‑commissioning, testing, and commissioning (T&C) activitiesWork closely with commissioning agents, vendors, and client representativesEnsure proper preparation of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentationSupport final inspections, snag clearance, and client acceptanceCost, Procurement & Contract SupportAssist the Project Manager in cost control, variation evaluation, and progress claimsTrack material procurement, deliveries, and vendor schedulesIdentify potential variation orders and schedule risks earlyQuality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITP), and quality recordsEnforce site HSE requirements and safe work practicesSupport audits, inspections, and authority submissions as requiredReporting & DocumentationPrepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reportsTrack RFIs, technical submissions, approvals, and site instructionsMaintain accurate project documentation and recordsWhat we look for:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC project engineeringExperience delivering large‑scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects is preferred.Hands‑on experience in HVAC installation, coordination, and commissioningData center or mission‑critical project experience is a strong advantageStrong knowledge of Chilled water systems (air‑cooled & water‑cooled), CRAH / CRAC units, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systemsFamiliar with project schedules and reporting tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel)Preferred Skills:Strong coordination and communication skillsProactive problem‑solver with attention to detailAble to work independently and under tight project schedulesGood stakeholder management and teamwork mindset
