This includes understanding customer requirements and translating them into end-to-end security solutions (Access Control, CCTV, Perimeter Intrusion Detection) with clear costing, timelines, and resource planning.The role will also involve engagement with customers alongside the business development team to present technical capabilities, solution architecture, and project approach.How you will do it:Provide technical support by responding to customer requirements with detailed analysis of security system design, including system architecture, hardware selection, and integration approachDevelop design proposals, system layouts, and compliance with project specifications to meet customer needsWork closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to align solutions, costing, and delivery feasibilityPrepare technical submissions, drawings, and proposals, including system schematics and high-level design documentationPerform cost estimation based on drawings, specifications, and site requirementsGenerate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure accuracy for proposal submissionsProvide technical presentations to customers on proposed solutionsWork collaboratively across functions to ensure solution standardisation and best practicesKnowledge of Johnson Controls security solutions will be an advantageWhat we look for:Bachelor's Degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 year relevant working experienceStrong knowledge in security systems (e.g. CCure, Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, etc.)Experience in system integration and security solution design for commercial, industrial, or critical infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with networking fundamentals, servers, and system architectureBasic programming / configuration experience (e.g. access control logic, system integration, or API-based platforms) is an advantageExperience in pre-sales, proposal, or application engineering role preferredWilling to travel for site visits and customer engagement across Malaysia
