Required Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2+ years of experience in the field, OR associate’s degree in engineering technology or a relevant field with 1 year of experience. (experience, 2 years)
• Working knowledge of current, voltage, and resistance, AC/DC equipment calibration. (experience)
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Excel. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications, ensuring traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
• Calibrate and repair equipment such as pressure devices, timers, ESD mats, ESD wrist straps, ESD workstations, scales, and weights.
• Calibrate standards used in calibrations and maintain equipment to established performance standards.
• Generate reports on the conditions of electronic or instrumentation systems, repairs, and preventive maintenance performed, and prepare necessary documentation as required by federal and departmental regulations.
• Perform complex configuration and testing of equipment following instructions, blueprints, schematic sketches, and prescribed testing procedures.
• Utilize common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment.
• Adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet special needs as required.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
