Title:Construction Site Superintendents (x 2)Construction Site Superintendent x 2 – Integrated Owner’s TeamOwner’s Team | Greenfield Copper & Gold ProjectYorke Peninsula, South AustraliaKBR, on behalf of Rex Minerals, is seeking two experienced Construction Site Superintendents to join the integrated Owner’s Construction Team on a major greenfield copper and gold concentrate project in South Australia.This is a site‑based leadership role offering strong visibility and influence across field execution, working alongside EPCM partners and multiple construction contractors through construction, mechanical completion and handover.The Opportunity:As a Construction Site Superintendent, you will act as the Owner’s on‑ground representative, taking accountability for the safe, efficient and compliant execution of works across assigned construction scopes.This is a hands‑on, site‑focused role operating on a back‑to‑back roster, ideal for experienced Senior Supervisors or Superintendents who excel in dynamic, multi‑contractor environments and want to be part of a high‑profile greenfield development.Key Responsibilities:Safety, Environment & CommunityProvide strong, visible safety leadership across all construction activitiesEnsure compliance with WHS legislation, site safety management systems and project HSE requirementsLead daily pre‑starts, toolbox talks and proactive field safety interactionsIdentify hazards, implement effective controls and actively manage riskEnsure environmental and heritage controls are implemented in line with project approvalsConstruction Execution:Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day construction activities across assigned scopes, including:earthworks, civils, concrete, structural steel, SMP, E&I, process plant and non‑process facilitiesEnsure work is executed in accordance with IFC drawings, specifications, ITPs and approved methodologiesCoordinate work fronts, access, sequencing and shared resources across disciplinesMonitor progress against schedule and manage field‑based risks and constraintsResolve construction issues in collaboration with engineering, quality and planning teamsContractor & Interface Management:Act as the primary field interface between the Owner, EPCM and construction contractorsProvide clear direction on priorities, scope and execution expectationsMonitor and manage contractor performance across safety, quality and scheduleCoordinate interfaces between disciplines, contractors and work frontsQuality, Planning & Handover:Ensure construction quality and specification complianceSupport ITP implementation, including participation in hold and witness pointsContribute to short‑interval planning and construction reportingSupport punch listing, defect rectification and handover readinessAbout You:EssentialTrade qualification or equivalent construction background10–15 years’ experience in site supervision or Superintendent roles on major projectsProven experience working in EPCM‑led, multi‑contractor environmentsDemonstrated safety leadership and strong construction execution capabilityDesirable:Greenfield mining or mineral processing project experienceExposure to mechanical completion and commissioning phasesFamiliarity with South Australian statutory and regulatory requirementsWhat’s on Offer:Senior site leadership role on a large‑scale greenfield mining projectOwner’s team position with strong influence on field executionCompetitive remuneration aligned to experienceFull‑time, two‑year, project‑based engagement2 weeks on / 1 week off back‑to‑back roster (12‑hour days)KBR Values:Our KBR Values - We Value Our People, We Deliver, We Are People of Integrity, We Empower, We Are a Team of Teams - embody our people centric organisation.Our culture, and our genuine focus on our people is a major factor in our success and we want you to be part of our journey.
