Title:Electrical EngineerKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for multiple Electrical Engineers to support a major upcoming offshore oil and gas project and we are currently building our powerhouse engineering team. These roles are an opportunity to be part of a high-impact project that will shape the future of energy infrastructure.We are looking for Mid-to-Senior Level Electrical Engineers with established competence in offshore facilities especially FPSO’s to join KBR for a career defining role in one of the largest Offshore Energy Projects in the region. The Electrical Engineers will lead and contribute to the full lifecycle of electrical systems from concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, Early Engineering design through to Detailed Engineering. Responsibilities: Ensure technical integrity and compliance with international standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with process, instrumentation, mechanical, and safety teams to deliver integrated engineering solutionsDrive innovation and continuous improvement in electrical design, energy efficiency, and system reliabilitySupport vendor selection and technical bid evaluations, ensuring optimal solutions for project deliveryMentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the teamEngage with clients, partners, and classification societies to align technical requirements and project milestonesQualifications:Mid-Level Electrical Engineers7+ years of experience in electrical design for offshore oil & gas facilitiesStrong understanding of MV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, and distribution networksExperience with SmartPlant/SPEL or similar engineering databasesFamiliarity with global electrical codes and standards (IEC, BSI, etc.)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teamsSenior/Lead Electrical Engineers15–20+ years of experience with offshore electrical systems, including FPSO projectsLeadership in managing design teams and overseeing full-scope electrical engineeringExpertise in MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) systems, power management, and VFDsProven track record in technical bid evaluations and package integrationDeep knowledge of compliance, assessment studies, and regulatory standardsBelong.
