Job Description

You will serve as an expert in intrusion detection systems that include video (IR and day), access control (card readers and keypads), RADAR perimeter security, intrusion detection (PIR and BMS), mass notification equipment and a variety of communication networks. Roles and Responsibilities:Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on intrusion detection and surveillance systems of various types and manufacturersRecommend solutions to design problems.Perform system tests and analyzing results, modifying equipment or installations to improve performance.Must possess basic hand tools such as: Multimeter, Screwdriver, pliers and associated basic electrical / electronics maintenance and repair tools.Perform other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Must be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to obtain a Secret clearance.High school diploma or equivalent.Must have as a minimum, eight (8) years hands-on experience in the field of electronics.Experience must include operational, maintenance and team lead work assignments. Must not be de-barred from military installations.Preferred Qualifications:Associates degree in electronics technology or a two-year civilian technical electronics curriculum or a four-year trade apprenticeship-training program in electronics or graduate of a military Class "A" electronics school.
