Title:ESS Product Support / Acquisition Logistics SpecialistBelong. Connect. Grow. with KBR!KBR is seeking a Product Support / Acquisition Logistics Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA.The MSEIT effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC). We acquire state of the art Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. space and ground communications systems.Responsibilities:Provide SE&I technical services in product support, sustainment planning, and acquisition logistics to the Government Program Office for the Evolved Strategic SATCOM (ESS) system, including space, ground, and cryptographic segmentsProvide subject matter expertise (SME) for integration of sustainment requirements and considerations into systems engineering, acquisition planning, and lifecycle execution, ensuring mission readiness and long-term system supportabilityProvide logistics planning, analysis, assessment, technical writing and review of documentation, and integration for the ESS system (space vehicle, ground, network and mission management) during the acquisition lifecycle; assess programs against the 12 Integrated Product Support ElementsProvide acquisition logistics SME in developing ESS Acquisition Strategy, Product Support Strategy, systems engineering lifecycle, requirements development and verification, system design, support to technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR), and Milestone Decision EventsAssist with systems engineering documents such as Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), and assist in the digital engineering / MBSE environments related to sustainment and supportability ensuring traceability of sustainment requirements within system baselinesIntegrate logistics requirements and considerations by regularly participating in and/or facilitating integration forums such as logistics working groups, Integrated Master Scheule Review, Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT), Depot Maintenance Activation Working Group (DMAWG), Provisioning Conference, and Product Improvement Working Group (PIWG); report progress status/issues/risk/potential impacts and resolution options; manage tasks/actions to closure; and capture information and present in an integrated schedule of events and milestones for senior leadership reviewDevelop, assess, evaluate, and coordinate logistics planning documents to implement a logistics life cycle integrated product support strategy for system fielding and to achieve program milestones, such as requirements products, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Depot Source of Repair(s) (DSOR), Depot Maintenance Activation Plan(s) (DMAP), policy/instructions, hardware/software licenses and warranties, sustainment concepts, technical orders (TO) verification, training plans, contractor Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and sparing, system support plans, support agreements, System Transition Plan, technical reports, white papers, and briefing materialsEvaluate system design and testing of reliability, availability, and maintainability-cost metrics (Ao, MTBF, MTTR), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Maintenance Task Analysis to achieve user requirements in mission capability and monitor system performance for improvementsProvide lifecycle planning for cryptographic (COMSEC) equipment, including handling, accountability, and sustainment considerationsAssess sustainment impacts across integrated system-of-systems architectures, including contested and resilient SATCOM environmentsAnalyze supply chain risks and support development of risk mitigation strategies, assist in development and evaluation of spares provisioning strategies and supply support plans, perform Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analysis and provide mitigation recommendations, and coordinate with stakeholders to assess sustainment impacts of design and manufacturing decisionsAssist in development of Solicitation documents to include: Market Research, Early Strategy & Issues Session briefings, Justification and Approval documentation, Solicitation Review Board decisions, Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, Fact Finding, Performance Work Statement (PWS)/Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) documents, System Security Engineering requirements, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, and evaluate contractor proposals and other related documents.Support transition to operations and sustainment activities, and assess operations and maintenance readiness for Depot activation, Operational Acceptance (OA) decisions, and Initial Responsibilities
