In this position, you will support acquiring and deploying the next generation of space assets including first of a kind satellite constellation with ground-breaking technology. This position requires an understanding of operations with prior experience in satellite operations. If you have passion for the mission, are excited about next generation space, and love collaborating with a great team, apply today.Key Responsibilities:Provide operations planning and execution supportDevelop and coordinate operations transition plans for large constellationsProvides support to anomaly resolutionSupport development and evaluation of CONOPS for GEOINT missionsInterface with mission users, operators, and analysts to translate operational needs into system requirementsAssess system performance from an operational and mission-effectiveness perspectiveSupport exercises, demonstrations, and operational evaluationsAbility to provide on-call supportProvide proactive support to the Government customer and tasks in an integrated office environmentParticipate in full lifecycle acquisition and SE activities from pre-acquisition through launch and on-orbit checkoutAuthor, review, and coordinate documents, briefings and data to aid the Government in communications and decision-makingProvide support for dissemination of imagery productsRequired Qualifications:Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance with current PolygraphEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, and 8+ years’ experiencePreferred: Masters or PhD in a relevant technical fieldSpace Systems: Experience with space systems design, development, and operations to include tasking, metrics collecting, and image disseminationIC Community: Experience with the Intelligence Community (IC) and/or the Department of DefensePayloads: Experience with IC architectures, spacecraft, and payloadsLead: Ability to lead and be the primary point of contact for one or more projectsSkills: Effective interpersonal skills (across multiple groups, offices, and organizations) and strong customer engagement skillsCommunication: Ability to communicate complex technical subjects to a diverse audience of senior decision makers with varying levels of technical expertise in written and oral formatsEnvironment: Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, integrated team environmentBelong, Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
