This role requires applying broad engineering expertise to ensure program hardware requirements are being met or exceeded, throughout the entire product lifecycle.Roles and Responsibilities Serve as Hardware Engineer Subject Matter Expert supporting LTI Systems Engineering on LTI managed PATRIOT Launcher and GEM-T Missile ProgramsProvide technical support at Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, working groups, and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)Support major System Engineering reviews like Systems Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR)Use engineering knowledge to ensure qualification test plans adequately test new hardware compliance to system requirements.Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Request for Change (RFC) documentation to validate Technical Data Package (TDP) changes are accurate.Research and develop Courses of Action to help government customers make informed decisions on emerging requirements and obsolescence mitigation efforts.Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Systems Preferred) with 4 years of relevant experience, ORMaster’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience, ORPhD in lieu of relevant experienceExperience with hardware technical data packages, missile system hardware, engineering design reviews, and hardware integration.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentActive security clearanceAbility to travel up to 25%Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting U.S. Army Air Defense Launcher and Missile programsKnowledge of Army Systems Engineering design practices and requirements specifications processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills related to Hardware Design and Integration effortsFamiliarity with reading and evaluating engineering Technical Data PackagesExperience with Models Based Systems Engineering (Cameo, MagicDraw, etc.)Belong, Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
