This person will play a critical role in enabling KBR’s enterprise-wide automation strategy, supporting business-critical integrations and digital delivery across global operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business partnership and innovation capabilities to drive reliable, scalable automation solutions.Key Focus Areas:Business PartnershipPartner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and application owners to understand automation requirements and translate them into scalable solutionsSupport SAP R/3 4.7 job schedules (SM36 & SM37), Informatica (OS command lines), and enterprise application teams by enabling reliable scheduling and integration servicesCollaborate across global teams to ensure continuity and alignment between STS and MTS environmentsInnovationDrive continuous improvement of automation processes and workflowsExplore modern authentication (SSO), security, and integration enhancementsIdentify opportunities to optimize job scheduling, reduce manual effort, and enhance platform efficiencyDigital DeliveryDeliver and maintain enterprise scheduling and automation capabilities using Automic (UC4)Support end-to-end automation including SAP jobs, Informatica workflows, and file-based integrationsEnsure high availability, performance, and reliability of automation platforms supporting critical business processesCore Responsibilities:Administer and support Automic (UC4) environments (v24.x)Configure workflows, schedules, and dependenciesManage Automic components including Automation Engine, Agents, and Service ManagerPerform installation and configuration on Windows and Linux systemsTroubleshoot job failures and system issuesManage users, roles, and security within AutomicRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field7+ years directly related work experienceIn lieu of formal education, 15+ years related experienceHands on experience with Automic (UC4) platformKnowledge of Windows and Linux scriptingExperience with SAP job scheduling and Informatica workflowsExpertise with Automic RAFTP, SFTP, PGP encryption, and file interfacesOracle SQL for troubleshooting and performance tuningExperience with LDAP, SSO, and web-based interfaces (AWI, Jetty)We are ITWe are strategic enablers of the business, delivering scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that drive operational excellence and support enterprise growth.
