You will provide ongoing functional analysis to validate mission requirements and constraints while assessing and monitoring system performance and providing feedback to a subsystem team of teams. You will act as an advisor to the customer, providing them with the results they need to inform mission critical decisions.What You’ll DoAs a JR Electrical & Computer Engineer, you will:Support the design and development of electrical and computer engineering systems, including hardware, embedded systems, and networked solutionsDevelop and review technical documentation, including schematics, interface control documents, and test proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams including systems and software engineersParticipate in troubleshooting and resolution of system-level issuesContribute to continuous improvement efforts across engineering processes and toolsUse standard engineering processes to carry out assignments associated with research, design, development or analysis of specific parts, components, interfaces, or minor phases of a projectAssist higher level engineers and translate technical guidance and data received into usable information applicable to the assignmentPlan, direct and coordinate engineering functions involved in the design and development, installation, testing, validation and integration of systems and subsystemsConduct research studies necessary for the improvement or reconfiguration of systems or subsystemsServe as the customer interface and organizational consultant on significant issues requiring technical guidance, redirection or resolutionAssist in compiling and preparing comprehensive technical reports and proposals; may participate as a team member of multiple teams; may act as primary intra-organizational liaisonPerform all other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI PolygraphBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field0–3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops applicable)Familiarity with engineering tools such as MATLAB and PythonFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as CameoStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentBasic Compensation:$92,100.00-$112,600.00This range is for the El Segundo, CA area only.$88,100.00-$107,600.00This range is for the King of Prussia, PA area only.$92,100.00-$112,600.00This range is for the Chantilly, VA area only.$80,100.00-$97,800.00This range is for the Beavercreek, OH area only.$80,100.00-$97,800.00This range is for the San Antonio, TX area only.$76,100.00-$93,000.00This range is for the Clearfield, UT area only.The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s work location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, clearance level, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI Polygraph (experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (degree in electrical engineering)
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops applicable) (experience, 3 years)
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as MATLAB and Python (experience)
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Cameo (experience)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (experience)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment (experience)

  • Serve as the customer interface and organizational consultant on significant issues requiring technical guidance, redirection or resolution
  • Assist in compiling and preparing comprehensive technical reports and proposals; may participate as a team member of multiple teams; may act as primary intra-organizational liaison
