You will provide ongoing functional analysis to validate mission requirements and constraints while assessing and monitoring system performance and providing feedback to a subsystem team of teams. You will act as an advisor to the customer, providing them with the results they need to inform mission critical decisions.What You’ll DoAs a JR System Engineer, you will:Support end-user needs by identifying, investigating and resolving system issues related to space systemsCollaborate with analysts, project leads, and customers to enhance operational efficiency and system reliabilityAssist in developing system requirements and specifications aligned with High-Level Mission objectivesParticipate in trade studies to identify improvements in system performance, architecture, and software/hardware solutionsContribute to engineering tradeoff analyses and assist in formulating Courses of Action (COAs) that consider operational constraintsGather information to create technical documents that support project deliverablesStay updated on agency, national, and international standards related to space systems development to ensure compliance and integrationProvide support throughout the systems engineering life cycle, managing risks and developing mitigation plans to guarantee mission successTrack project activities for systems engineering, software/hardware development, and deployment, ensuring effective command and control integrationEngage in continuous improvement efforts to optimize ground processing and mission management practicesRequired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI PolygraphBachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplineAbility to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skillsSelf-starter who can partner with multiple teammatesExcellent presentation and communication skillsUnderstanding of planning and integrating secure solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directivesFamiliarity with development of requirements for system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security for mid-to-large-scale systemsBasic Compensation:$92,100.00-$112,600.00This range is for the El Segundo, CA area only.$88,100.00-$107,600.00This range is for the King of Prussia, PA area only.$92,100.00-$112,600.00This range is for the Chantilly, VA area only.$80,100.00-$97,800.00This range is for the Beavercreek, OH area only.$80,100.00-$97,800.00This range is for the San Antonio, TX area only.$76,100.00-$93,000.00This range is for the Clearfield, UT area only.
