Job Title: Lead Instrument and Controls Engineer KBR is growing its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for an exciting, high profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The ADNOC PMC project role would be based initially in Client or Contractors Office in Abu Dhabi.Job PurposeThe Lead Instrument & Controls Engineer is responsible for leading all Instrumentation, Control Systems, Functional Safety, and Automation engineering activities for ADNOC Offshore projects. The role ensures the delivery of safe, reliable, cost-effective, and compliant engineering solutions throughout FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-up phases.The position provides technical leadership for offshore process control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), distributed control systems (DCS), emergency shutdown systems (ESD), fire and gas systems (F&G), telecommunications interfaces, and field instrumentation for offshore oil and gas facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering LeadershipLead and coordinate Instrumentation & Control engineering activities across the project lifecycle.Manage a team of I&C engineers, designers, and specialists.Ensure all engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and ADNOC Offshore requirements.Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to engineering personnel.Review and approve all I&C engineering deliverables.Instrumentation reviews.Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed throughout engineering activities.QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.Master's Degree is an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 15 years of Instrumentation & Control Engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects.Minimum 5–8 years in a Lead I&C Engineer role on offshore EPC/EPCM projects.Proven experience with ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Onshore, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, or other major offshore operators.Experience in both greenfield and brownfield offshore developments.Technical KnowledgeMandatoryADNOC Offshore Engineering Standards.Instrumentation Design and Specification.DCS, ESD, PLC,
