Our finance team is built around a strategy that prioritizes business partnership to support the company in advancing its strategic objectives. We seek to modernize and streamline our processes to deliver timely, accurate, reliable, actionable intelligence to key decision-makers. This role will report to the Director, Accounting.Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Maintain oversight for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for multiple projects of varying complexityMaintain integrity of general ledger and all other accounting systemsAssist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes Including accruals, revenue recognition and quarterly revenue disclosures (ASC606)Analyze and review monthly financial resultsMaintain accurate and timely reportingEnsure the highest levels of internal control; manages activities related to internal and external audits, including SOX complianceBe a business partner with non-accounting colleaguesAR reviews, cash monitoring and forecasting, etcProject review including attending project status review meetingsResearching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principlesRead and interpret contract documents as they relate to billing and revenue recognitionCommunicate and coordinate with accounting staff in other offices worldwide.
