Successful candidates should have experience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models to solve various problems across multiple domains. Experience and familiarity with the space domain is preferred.Responsibilities:Understanding customer requirements, adjusting analytical efforts to meet those requirements, and effectively communicating resultsDeveloping and implementing mathematical and statistical models to solve various problems across multiple domainsAbility to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectivesAbility to apply modern Data Science techniques (such as supervised and unsupervised machine learning) to datasetsUnderstand how to optimize tasks using computer automationWork as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staffRequired Qualifications:Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCIEducation: Master of Science degree in operations research, data science, or related technical field7+ years of experienceProficiency with PythonExperience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical modelsHigh motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environmentAbility to work well as part of a teamStrong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze dataDesired Qualifications:A Ph.D. in operations research or a theoretical science fieldExperience in DoW space and joint force programsExperience with the Warp Core and/or Envision platformsExperience with NumPy, scikit-learn, keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Pandas, SymPy, SPSS, PSPP, SymPy, SAS, JMPExperience with web-application system design and deployment using Plotly Dash, containerization, and databasesWork Environment:Location: On siteTravel Requirements: MinimalWorking Hours: Standard, 40 hours per week (Full-time)Compensation:For Colorado only, the salary range for this position is approximately $140,000 - $150,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Other Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
