Grow. with KBR!KBR is seeking a highly motivated Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support modernization and integration of the Protected Key Management Architecture (PKMA) capability within the Enterprise SATCOM System. The successful candidate will provide systems engineering, acquisition, cryptographic key management, requirements, integration planning, and stakeholder coordination support across government, contractor, and national-level crypto stakeholders. The selected candidate will directly influence technical direction, acquisition execution, integration success, and risk posture for this modernization effort.Basic Compensation: $149,400 - $186,700 in El Segundo CAThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Ready to Make a Difference? Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance required for this position (experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related technical discipline (degree in engineering)
  • 7+ years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or national security space programs (experience, 7 years)
  • Experience with cryptographic systems, key management infrastructure, COMSEC, or TRANSEC operations (experience)
  • Experience developing technical requirements, SOWs, acquisition packages, and engineering documentation (experience)
  • Experience supporting large-scale system integration efforts (experience)
  • Strong technical writing and briefing skills (experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering or related discipline (degree in engineering or related discipline)
  • Experience with SATCOM, AEHF, ESS, EHF, or strategic communications systems (experience)
