Title:Senior Lead Electrical EngineerKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire assetlife cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving, the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.Responsibilities:Act as a leader in applying Cost Competitive Execution techniques and develop the most cost- effective total project solution for the discipline engineering work Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projectsProject set-up, developing control-level schedules, progress reporting and project close-outManage and lead large teamsAct as mentors for young and middle level engineers and lead / senior designersDevelop and deliver technical training on various engineering topicsDevelop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, including workforce forecastsPerformance management of project / department personnelEstablish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts Develop and review specifications, including design criteriaPrepare Material Requisition, perform offer evaluation, TBE, vendor drawing review, attending FAT for all major electrical equipment / packagesAbility to perform / review complex engineering calculations including Power System Studies using ETAP/SKMAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesAdvanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materialsEffort-hour estimating and staff forecastingQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree regular in Electrical & Electronics Engineering10 years of related experience, with average experience of 20+ yearsHands on experience in Oil & Gas / Industrial projectsDevelop overall power distribution scheme and SLDs for large industrial projectsExpert knowledge of electrical equipment like MV/LV Switchgears, transformers, UPS etc.Advance level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and WordAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Experience in working in multi-cultural environmentPractical field experienceDecarbonization – Energy Transition – Sustainability#LI-GD1
