Our program team consists of dedicated, mission-focused professionals who bring technical expertise, operational insight, and a commitment to excellence in support of this critical national defense capability.Join a program that directly impacts air dominance, national security, and allied interoperability across the globe.Key Responsibilities:Provide avionics engineering support for Communications, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) systemsSupport IFF Mode 5 integration and sustainmentWork on Secure Voice systems development and modernizationAssist with GPS/Antenna upgrades and integrationCollaborate with program office, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure technical compliancePerform high-visibility, mission-critical tasks independentlyWork Environment:Location: On-siteTravel Requirements: 25%Working Hours: StandardRequired Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 15 years of experienceAdvanced knowledge and recognized ability in avionics engineeringAbility to perform tasks and oversee efforts of junior and journeyman personnelComprehensive understanding of avionics standards, procedures, and practicesDemonstrated ability to work on mission-critical aspects of a program independentlyActive TS/SCIDesired Qualifications / Skills:MS in Electrical Engineering and 11 years of experienceFamiliarity with F-22 platform and avionics systemsExperience with secure communication protocols and cryptographic equipmentKnowledge of GPS modernization and antenna integrationStrong understanding of DoD acquisition, capability verification, and MIL standardsReady to Make a Difference?If you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
