Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. (experience)
• Minimum three (3) years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, manufacturing, electronics, or a related field. (experience)
• U.S. Citizenship required due to customer requirements. (experience)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, blueprints and technical documentation. (experience)
• Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methodologies, and manufacturing processes. (experience)
• Experience using standard inspection and measurement tools. (experience)
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). (experience)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. (experience)
• Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules effectively. (experience)
• Must successfully complete and maintain customer and KBR qualification requirements, including vision exams, GD&T exam, and other technical evaluations as applicable. (experience)

• IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or IPC-A-600 certification. (certification)
• Familiarity with AS9100. (experience)
• Experience supporting NASA, DoD, aerospace, or other high-reliability manufacturing customers. (experience)
• Previous source inspection or supplier audit experience. (experience)
• IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or IPC-A-600 certification. (certification)
• Familiarity with AS9100. (experience)
• Experience supporting NASA, DoD, aerospace, or other high-reliability manufacturing customers. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Conduct source inspections at supplier facilities.
• Verify compliance with customer requirements, engineering drawings, specifications, purchase order requirements and applicable industry standards.
• Perform visual, dimensional and documentation inspections.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, and other inspection tools.
• Verify calibration and certification status for inspection equipment.
• Review manufacturing and quality documentation including certifications, travelers, inspection reports, material traceability, and test data.
• Complete inspection reports and documentation accurately and within required timelines.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, customers, and internal KBR personnel regarding inspection status and quality concerns.
• Maintain all required qualifications, certifications, training, and medical requirements, including annual vision examinations, certification renewals, and mandatory compliance training.
• Support a culture of safety and operational excellence through participation in near-miss reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and other company directed activities.
