In this role, you will spend 90% of your day on the phone, helping our clients to bring their accounts to active and offer solutions.Training: On-site 100% for the first 3 weeks.Location: Hybrid - Amherst NY - In-office 2 days per week. after training (Wednesday and Thursday).Hours: Schedules are between 8:00am and 9:00pm ETEquipment is provided. Customer service skills, such as compassion and empathy, are essential to success in this role.JOB SUMMARYA Specialist on the Commercial Collections team engages with commercial clients via phone to resolve account delinquencies and provide professional, solutions-oriented service.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate with clients primarily by phone to help resolve account delinquenciesProvide courteous and effective service, offering solutions to bring accounts currentHandle high transaction volumes accurately and efficientlyMeet established production goals and deadlinesManage and diffuse challenging client situations independentlyCollaborate as part of a team and assist in training new staff as neededRequirements and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is requiredMinimum 1 year of customer service experience is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in handling pressure and meeting deadlinesAnalytical skills for research and problem solvingExceptional attention to detailDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks accuratelyPrevious experience training or mentoring others is a plusAdaptability to changing environmentsThis is an evergreen posting. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
