The Senior Sales Support Assistant – Fixed Income plays a critical role in supporting the fixed income sales and trading team by ensuring smooth trade settlement, maintaining client accounts, and delivering high-quality administrative and client service support. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Essential FunctionsMonitor and ensure timely settlement of all fixed income trades.Verify trade confirmations and proactively resolve discrepancies with clients and back office.Track and resolve failed trades; notify clients of good fails and delivery issues.Open and maintain client accounts in internal systems and Bloomberg; follow up on required documentation.Update account information and ensure compliance with CIP and DARQ procedures.Assist sales team with bids, offers, and orders via phone or Bloomberg when needed.Process client requests for letters, reports, and investment documentation.Coordinate travel arrangements and complete expense reports for sales team.Monitor commissions and assist with reporting.Respond to client inquiries and provide requested materials such as confirmations and prospectuses.Enter trades into Bloomberg and other internal systems.Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without noticeComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.EducationHigh School Diploma (required)Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)Work Experience3+ years of relevant experience in financial services or trading support. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
