Our new 237,000-square-foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces, including 25,000 square feet of R&D clean rooms, 35,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space and tool demo areas, all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging, power devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), radio frequency (RF) and photonics sector technology! Working in our existing Procurement Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing best practise methodology in all Supply chain functions. This will include carrying out and assisting in the following capabilities and responsibilities.Your day to day responsibilities will include:Demonstrate key expedite capabilityLead time reduction initiatives with Purchasing / Spares OrganisationsUndertake problem solving and trouble-shootingCost reduction and inventory reduction initiativesDevelop & evaluate new suppliersDevelop good relationships with current suppliersSummarise results in a written report or presentation formatsMRP / SAP understandingGlobal supply chain and logistics initiatives Develop and understand key SPTS purchasing processesGenerating SAP reports and creating controlled measuresUnderstanding and creating Data to support KPI’s Measuring market conditions and identifying key global constraints Interfacing with SPARES to support tool down scenario and for regional forecastsDeveloping reports to support OTIF to SPARES >90% KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
