There is never a dull moment with us.Job DescriptionGroup/DivisionKLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper. ResponsibilitiesInterface with Design Engineering team for the release of new products (NPI) into ManufacturingInvolve in product Enhancement/CIP and evaluate the design for manufacturability and reliability by participating in design reviews and the assembly of the prototype unitsApply 7-step trouble-shooting, including driving learning and standardization where appropriate.Drive continuous improvement to minimize Cycle time/Quality issues.Creating ECO (Engineering Change Orders), Structuring BOMs and creating test and assembly documentation as neededPerform First Article qualifications for parts and obsolescence components.Ability to do a detailed Failure analysis on Infant Mortality parts and come up with proposal and concepts to enhance performance.Provide fly and fix support on field escalations for analysis/resolution on any issue requiring in-depth knowledge on the product.Systematically analyse technical issues and Infant Mortality issues and come up with proposal and concepts to standardize.Generate and Maintain process and equipment work instructions, drawings, and other production document to conform to specificationsResponse to failure analysis and provide comprehensive analysis report to field support team or customers. Provide and implement the corrective action through systematic methodsWork with suppliers to resolve component/part quality problems and/or dispose of non-conformance items in a timely mannerAssist Quality and Purchasing departments in driving supplier quality improvements, cost reductions, and engineering support as requiredRequirementsBachelor/Master's/Ph.D in Mechanical / Mechatronics, preferably between 1 - 8 years of relevant work experienceEntry level graduates of Master's Degree and above with strong academic knowledge in relevant field of studies are welcomedAbility to develop test benches to diagnose electronics/noise issues that cause system level failure.Understand the working principle of complex electro-mechanical assemblies on a high precision defect inspection equipment and how they relate to system performance.Good Understanding of the Pneumatics, Computers, controls systems and sensors involved in Electro Mechanical stage/RobotKnowledge on lean manufacturing and six sigma processes are desirableIn-depth understanding of electronics components involved in the design and development of optical-based, semiconductor inspection equipment or equivalent is a plusStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set-up experiments, and perform data analysisAbility to read technical drawings, understand BOMs, and use a variety of precision testing and measuring InstrumentsExcellent project management, problem solving and interpersonal skillsA self-driven individual with keen technical mind, positive attitude and strong team playerUp to 25% of international travel may be expectedMinimum QualificationsMaster's Level Degree or work experience of 0 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 1 yearsWe offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master's/Ph.D in Mechanical / Mechatronics, preferably between 1 - 8 years of relevant work experience (experience, 8 years)
  • Entry level graduates of Master's Degree and above with strong academic knowledge in relevant field of studies are welcomed (degree in relevant field of studies are welcomed)
  • Ability to develop test benches to diagnose electronics/noise issues that cause system level failure. (experience)
