The MACH team's mission is to collaborate with our customers to innovate technologies and solutions that detect and control highly complex process variations—at their source—rather than compensate for them at later stages of the manufacturing process. With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Our MACH team develops leading-edge solutions for patterning process analytics and control technologies, thereby providing customers with critical insight at the feature level, field level and cross-wafer analysis. Our teams also develop advanced modeling simulation, data analytics and process control modeling technologies. As a member of the MACH team, you’ll be joining the most sophisticated and successful process-control company in the semiconductor industry--working across functions to solve the most complex technical problems in the digital age.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsLead projects related to new product introduction, including definition, characterization, alpha testing, and beta testing.Provide pre- and post-sales application support, which includes collaborating with customers to define problem statements and resolve technical issues.Developing Best Known Method (BKM) documents, training materials, and knowledge sharingWork closely with customer teams on-site to conduct investigations, gather and analyze data, and identify root causes of process patterning errors.Design and implement process tool control solutions to minimize patterning errors and improve yield.Partner with customers to publish technical papers in industry symposiums and journals.Hands-on work with KLA metrology systems and software will be required.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.Hands-on experience with semiconductor process tools, metrology applications, or process development.Experience in one or more of the following areas:OverlayStress-related process errorsScanner toolsLithography metrologyEtch metrologyProcess developmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of KLA metrology systems is an advantage.Programming or scripting experience is a plus.We offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
