There is never a dull moment with us.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsSummeryPerforms a variety of duties in the mechanical and optical areas while using documented information and strict quality process to preforms assemblies, tests and calibrations while reporting the data in the prescribed formats.Performs inspection, cleaning and troubleshooting of optical components with high quality standards in clean-room environment.Primary responsibilitiesTest, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate production optical components according to procedures and strict quality assurance.Assemble optical components and sub-assemblies systems according to schematics, mechanical drawings and written proceduresConduct optical measurements, inspection, cleaning and tests for various optic components using dedicated jigs and microscopeWork in and maintain a safe, efficient clean-room environment while assembling and testing sensitive optical componentsFollow safety procedures for operating Xenon & laser-based systems and assembly procedures for delicate optical componentsPreforming experiments with Eng./NPL team when implementing new product family with detailed results output and cooperationMinimum QualificationsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceP.E in electronics, optics, or similar relevant discipline.Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience preferred.Fine motor skills required; optical assembly experience preferredMust be able to read mechanical schematic diagramsworking in lab environment with optical test equipment such as optical power meters, spectrometers, alignment cameras is an advantageHigh English communication level including writing and day to day communications via email and various company’s platformsMaintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independentlyWe offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
