The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsWe are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead complex construction projects across offices, laboratories, and clean room environments. In this role, you will take full ownership of projects from early planning through execution and handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in full compliance with all applicable regulations.You will work closely with internal business stakeholders, external partners, architects, engineers, and contractors, acting as a trusted advisor and leader throughout the project lifecycle.Your ResponsibilitiesLead the development of project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements for assigned projectsDefine project scope, deliverables, and success criteria in close alignment with stakeholdersPrepare, submit, and manage project budgets; forecast resource needs and manage variation ordersAnalyze operational and construction processes and recommend improvements to optimize cost, quality, and asset performanceObtain and manage all required permits, approvals, and regulatory prerequisites (e.g., municipalities, authorities, fire safety, environmental agencies, ministries)Own and manage contracts and subcontracts, including selection and coordination of general contractors and suppliersCoordinate and align architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors across all project phasesEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all building, safety, and regulatory requirementsProvide regular progress updates on costs, timelines, risks, and milestonesLead and motivate large, multidisciplinary project teams and project support staffDrive timely decision-making and ensure effective integration of all key stakeholdersDevelop space roadmaps for offices, laboratories, and clean rooms aligned with business needsCreate workspaces and clean room environments that foster collaboration, innovation, and productivityBuild strong relationships with internal business groups; understand their strategy, operating rhythm, and performance metricsData Analytics & Cost ManagementCompile and analyze market data, forecasts, and budgets to actively manage construction costsCreate, benchmark, and optimize industrial project cost modelsUse data-driven insights and financial analysis to support decision-making and influence stakeholdersProactively balance specific client needs with broader company and partner interestsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related fieldSignificant, hands-on experience in construction project managementStrong understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural principlesConsistent track record to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control project costsHigh level of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditionsExperience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documentationRegulatory & Technical Expertise (Germany)Solid experience with German building law and local authority approval processesIn-depth knowledge of relevant German regulations and standards, including Bauordnungsrecht, HOAI, VOB, and technical norms such as DIN and VDIExperience working with permitting and approval authorities is crucialTools & SystemsExperience with construction and planning software such as AutoCAD, Revit, P6Confident user of MS OfficeExperience with tendering and cost planning tools / AVA software (e.g., RIB iTWO, ORCA AVA) is a strong advantageAdditional SkillsExperience with Class 100 clean room construction is a plusStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent organizational skills with the competence to run multiple projects in parallelStrong analytical mentality with the ability to use data and financial analysis to drive decisionsExcellent communication and presentation skills, including interaction with senior leadersLanguagesProficient in English and German (spoken and written)Health & SafetyUnderstanding of German health and safety construction legislationWe offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
