This role provides an opportunity for an experienced Mechatronics/Controls engineer to apply their understanding of control theory, system dynamics, and data analytics to optimize the performance of a multi-axis precision stage. Specific responsibilities include:1) Perform controller tuning, performance characterization, and troubleshooting for a nanometer-level precision motion stage.2) Define requirements for stage testing and drive the development of data processing tools in Python.3) Characterize dynamic performance at the inspection station level. Use a combination of testing and analysis to understand observed behavior.
