Job DescriptionReporting to the Site Manager, the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead is accountable for the Health & Safety performance of our Seven Hills site, as well as supporting implementation of other Operational Risk initiatives including Environment, Facility Security and Business Continuity. This is not your routine Health & Safety role – come enjoy a diverse and dynamic role within a supportive team where you’ll enjoy the autonomy to drive a broad agenda across the site. You will be responsible for:Setting site direction of EHS performance through target setting and performance monitoringContinuous improvement to ensure site EHS compliance with legislation and Kraft Heinz global best practiceEnsuring suitable policies, management systems and controls are applied across EHSDriving EHS audits and action plansMitigating business continuity risks through emergency preparedness plansQualitative and quantitative EHS reportingRehabilitation and Return to WorkLeading and participating in Environment and Social Governance, such as energy conservation and waste reduction initiatives.To be successful in this role you must have:At least 5 years experience in EHS or safety management in a manufacturing environment, with working knowledge of relevant legislationExperience in dealing with regulatory agencies (i.e. Workplace Health and Safety QLD, Department of Environment & Science).Experience with Safety Management Systems and EHS auditingExperience with Rehabilitation and Return to WorkLocation(s)Seven Hills Kraft Heinz is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes.
