Job DescriptionAbout the PositionWe have an excellent opportunity available for a Tax Associate Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz Turkey. The Tax Associate Manager lies within the Controlling team and is based in our Istanbul (Akmerkez) Office. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into Head of Financial Controlling.In brief, you will be responsible for:Oversee tax compliance obligations and follow up tax compliance responsibilitiesResponsible for CIT, VAT, WHT, stamp duty declarations and filings in coordination with finance teams and tax advisorsFollow up changes in local and international tax legislation,Identify the risks or uncertain issues, suggest on the possible resolutions and timely communications with the local Finance teams and other teamsManage all Tax audits (external, internal audit); coordinate tax auditsOptimize tax compliance procedures and processes to mitigate tax risks and improve efficiency in coordination with finance teamsCollaborate with the finance team on workflow and tax queries, and participate in the monthly closing procedure. Provide oversight of local aspects of the quarterly and year-end tax provisionAct as the local center of tax expertise for business and provide support to other functions to ensure compliance with the local tax requirementsE-ledger submissionResponsible for VAT refund processInvestment Incentive Certificate Process follow upTransfer Pricing Report preparation in coordination with local/global tax advisorsWhat you bring:Minimum 3 years of tax audit experience in Big4 is must7+ years of tax and accounting experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or reputable accounting/audit companiesBachelor’s degree or above in Economics / Finance / Business with a focus on Accounting/TaxStrong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax legislation and practiceAdvanced in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsQualified professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA and other industry-recognized qualificationsExperience in the food manufacturing and agro-trading industry is preferredSAP Knowledge is preferredUSGAAP Knowledge is preferredAbout UsThe Kraft Heinz Company is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, with eight $1 billion+ brands and global sales of approximately $25 billion. Required Qualifications
