These brands are full-service concert promotion companies involved in every facet of event management built to help support artists at every level of their careers.WHAT THIS PERSON WILL DOConcert income statement preparationComplete account reconciliations as assigned by the supervisorPrepare and record journal entriesProject reconciliations--both the month-end project and special projectsManage the company's fixed asset records, including asset additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reportingMaintain and record routine accounting transactions such as Ticketmaster sales entriesProvide audit support as neededCommunicate accounts receivable with intercompany departments to ensure they are cleared monthlyAll other duties as assignedWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGBachelor’s degree in Accounting1-3 years of General Ledger Accounting or Public Accounting experienceCPA is preferred, but not requiredProject Accounting experience a plusWillingness to occasionally work unconventional hours, as job duties demandAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional mannerAbility to work independently and solve problems using sound decision-making skillsExcellent time-management skills and the ability to change focus, meet tight turnarounds and important deadlinesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to adapt and be flexibleAbility to communicate effectively in a team environment that includes in-person collaboration, group e-mails, and instant messagingCommitted to learning, and fostering an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusionProficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on ExcelPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTExtended periods of sitting at a computer station or work deskUtilization of hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipmentOccasionally performs duties while standing and walking, including ascending and descending stairsThis position is expected to work forty (40) hours per week or more.
