Job Summary:THE ROLEThe Event Store Manager is responsible for modeling superior customer service and leading the designated store/merchandise tent through high energy and consistent behavior. The Event Store Manager will understand the dynamics of event merchandise sales and thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment all while maintaining positive team morale. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise, train, and support retail teammates on effective/efficient merchandise selling practices and customer service best practices.Manages and monitors team member breaks/lunches in accordance with local labor lawsHold team huddle at the start of each shift to communicate daily briefing notes with staffEnsure merchandise locations always remain clean and presentable and displays meet or exceed expectations.Complete throughout count in/out of all event merchandise with a designated retail team.Follows planogram templates for merchandising and display of product for effective sell through.Notifies leadership of staffing needs and managers team member time keeping to ensure optimization of budgetAddress and resolve problematic customer issuesRole models established customer experience practices with internal and external customersSupports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respectMaintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standardsAccurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standardsInitiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the dayMaintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire storeProvides ongoing recognition and constructive feedbackAdheres to all labor laws, policies, and proceduresSupports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programsParticipates in safety awareness and maintenance of a risk-free environmentPerforms duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS3+ years’ experience in retail management or event merchandise salesProven ability to abide by staff training manualsSterling reputation for excellence in the required role with at least five top notch referencesProficiency in spreadsheetsMust be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude.Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and smallWORK ENVIRONMENTAble to work a flexible schedule to support business needsPossesses strong organizational skills with attention to detailCapable of balancing multiple tasks at one timeAble to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situationsPossesses strong communication skillsCapable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodationWorks effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasksMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesRemaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of timeLifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead liftingVisual Acuity – Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/detailsEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
