Box Office agents are resources for all guest questions with an energetic, upbeat and positive attitude. Generates revenue by selling and issuing show tickets directly to guests at the Box Office. Responsible for collecting funds/documentation for tickets.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Processing and verifying credit card and cash transactionsMaintain constant surveillance of cash drawer to ensure accuracyMaintain superior customer service both in person and over the phonesAnswer phone promptly and with a phoneGuest relationsWill call windowProcessing opening and closing paperworkKnowledge of talent and entertainmentKeep a clean, well-groomed appearanceAssist with miscellaneous box office projects as directedNON-PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:Working knowledge of phone handling, cashiering, customer serviceEntry level knowledge of basic computer operation and point of sales systemsExcellent skills in customer service, phone etiquette, cash handling, filing, multi-task environment, attention to detailAbility to communicate, work well with others, work in a high-volume, and sometimes stressful environmentAbility to type 30 wpmHigh School Diploma or GEDPrevious Ticketing experience (preferred)Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Must adhere to all safety measures and policies.THE PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW ARE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION.
