Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this timeKey ResponsibilitiesServes as the on-site management and leader of a Bulk Distribution Center (BDC)Responsible for the execution of all functions at the facility, including: the daily, weekly and annual operational planning and execution to meet distribution center, XDT and store service requirementsRecruit, train, and manage up to a 250 employee workforce on multiple shiftsAssists associates with HR related issues including questions/concerns with attendance, pay, benefits, job changes, terminations, I-9 verification, unemployment claims, and workplace accommodationsRecruits, hires, trains, develops, and retains effective shift management teamsIn conjunction with HR, develops, implements, and measures effectiveness of associate training programsEvaluates staffing needs to meet daily demand; works with the Operations Managers and Supervisors to move personnel to meet the daily priorities and inventory flow; monitors regularly and makes adjustments as neededCommunicates effectively with Operations Managers and Supervisors regarding business objectives, safety issues, current issues, upcoming events and demand for the daySets Operations Managers and Supervisors up for success; to achieve or exceed key performance indicators, safety, performance and budget targetsManage relationships with the distribution centers, local community, suppliers to the facility, and corporate constituents of the facilityDevelop and nurture a positive, focused, and productive work environment for all Team Members.Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are adhered to and that short and long term plans are implementedExpected to be effective stewardship of Lowe’s corporate resourcesPursues professional growth and provides developmental opportunities for others by soliciting and acting on performance feedbackBuild collaborative, cross-functional relationshipsDelegate tasks and decisions; fostering open dialog amongst team membersWork closely with employees to set goals and provide open feedback and coaching to drive performance improvementManage designated work stream to meet customer and business needs by translating business plans into tactical action itemsAlign team efforts by building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving resultsIdentify and address improvement opportunities and lead facility through changeEnsure all safety policies and procedures are implemented and observed, and that equipment and work areas are neat, clean and well organizedAnalyze current procedures and initiate new ideas to improve productivity and efficiencyIdentify cause(s) of product loss and take corrective action as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree Supply Chain Operations or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicableOther or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicableWorking knowledge of Excel, Word and Access3 Years of leadership experience with direct reports, including experience leading managers8 Years of operations experience in a large volume center environment1 Year Experience in creating and managing a budgetPreferred QualificationsLean Six Sigma certification (yellow belt or above)About Lowe’sLowe's Companies, Inc. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Operations or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable (experience)
  • Other or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable (experience)
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Access (experience)
  • 3 Years of leadership experience with direct reports, including experience leading managers (experience, 3 years)
  • 8 Years of operations experience in a large volume center environment (experience, 8 years)
  • 1 Year Experience in creating and managing a budget (experience, 1 years)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (yellow belt or above) (certification)
