Your ImpactThe Warehouse I Associate is primarily responsible for receiving, putting away, picking, and shipping product within a warehouse. This role is responsible for maintaining quality by properly and safely handling the product, as to meet customer standardsWhat You Will DoEfficiently and accurately pull and/or check orders to company standards.Accurately pulls products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirementsPacks and stages completed purchase orders for delivery.Achieves or exceeds performance expectations by completing effective and efficient audits.Trained and performs tasks in cross-functional areas, such as picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and/or helping with deliveries, as assigned by managementIndividual ContributorMinimum QualificationsHigh School or GED General studies or technical school graduate.Physical fitness to move continuously throughout the facility, lift up to 25 pounds, and operate power equipment.Adherence to safety protocols, wearing necessary personal protective equipment.Ability to work in varying conditions, from extreme temperatures to noisy environments.Strong safety orientation and ability to work independently or within a team.Preferred Skills/EducationExperience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck)Experience performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced working environmentExperience using spatial reasoning to position product effectivelyLess than 1 year Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experienceAbout Lowe’s Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
