Job Description

Utilizing strong customer services skill this role is accountable to our clients to analyze, underwrite and recommend approval loan/ line of credit applications within our services standards, with solid justification. The account manager is also responsible for communicating loan decisions and requirements to advisors while maintaining high customer service skills. The role also involves responding to inquiries submitted by clients, financial advisors and staff by either phone or email. The Specialized Retail Lending department is currently looking for a dynamic individual to joint their team as Account ManagerPosition Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret financial statements (personal and corporate) and other documents related to the underwriting of loan applicationsReview and approve within DLA, loan transactions up to $1,000,000Recommend for approval more complex loan transactions that exceed $1,000,000Processing of more complex new loan applications in accordance with Bank policies and proceduresPrioritization of daily workAdjudicate security requirements on existing loan portfolioReview loans for satisfactory repayment history, correct and continued security documentation and statusAdherence to risk/ audit / compliance requirementsHas the ability to process a high volume of applicationsMeet and exceed defined service level agreements and engage Manager if SLA's are not metProvides superior customer service to Advisors and ClientsRequired Qualifications:Team oriented with a positive attitude3-5 years of lending experienceExcellent PC skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerpointGood conflict resolution skillsSound problem solving skills and strong negotiation and influencing skillsExcellent time management skills, and ability to organize, multi-taskHigh accuracy skills with a strong attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:Excellent knowledge of Banking policies, procedures and productsStrong knowledge of banking industryStrong knowledge of banking systemsSound knowledge of insurance and investment-based productsBilingualism (English and French) is an asset. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
