Position Responsibilities: Core Analytics & Process EnhancementDevelop, maintain, and enhance data processing and analytical tools to support experience monitoring, experience studies, and medical repricing activities.Support the migration of actuarial models, reports, and analytical processes from Excel-based solutions to Power BI, Python, SQL, or other scalable analytics platforms.Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve actuarial processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical visualizations to support experience monitoring and management decision-making.Data Management & ControlsPerform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks across various actuarial data sources.Enhance and maintain process documentation, controls, and governance frameworks to improve reliability and auditability of analytical outputs.Investigate data anomalies and coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to resolve data issuesRequired Qualifications:Minimum Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.Progressing toward actuarial qualificationStrong Excel skills.Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau, or other analytics tools preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to independently develop analytics solutions and process improvementsExperience leading data analytics or automation initiatives.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.When you join our team:We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.About Manulife and John HancockManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
