Manager/Assistant Manager, Trade OperationsThe Manager/ Assistant Manager, Trade Operations will be one of the core team members of Investment Operations team providing subject matter expertise and support to our daily trade management processes. Position Responsibilities:Oversight of trade management and support, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, pricing and valuations across retail fund, pension fund, institutional mandate and general accountsOversee post-trade processing activities and ensure timely escalation and resolution of exceptions across the trade lifecycleMonitor corporate action & corporate event in a timely manner and follow-up with business units/custodian when requiredCoordinate broker onboarding, SSI setup, trading connectivity and operational readiness for new fund launchesDevelop and maintain procedures and controls within investment operations to ensure consistent high-quality services and support to the front office, clients, and other business unitsWork with regional and country operations teams to promote best practices and standardization across the Asia region and globally where applicableAssist in providing training or knowledge sharing for offshore support team to support our daily operations and oversee outsourced activities and service providersDrive process reengineering, automation, data quality enhancement and operational risk reduction initiativesEnsure operational risks, controls, incidents and audit findings are appropriately identified, escalated, documented and remediatedSupport MIS reporting, due diligence review, internal or external audit on trade management functions whenever it is necessaryManage the relationship with fund managers, trading desks, custodian banks, brokers, auditors, and internal/external counterparties to monitor the quality of services and ensure market standard practices are in placeCollaborate with peers and various key stakeholders including but not limited to regional and country investment operations teams, Front Office, Product, Client Portfolio Management, Client Advisory, Institutional Sales, Risk and Compliance teamsSupport system implementation, enhancement, workflow optimization, testing, and post-production stabilization activities across Asia markets. Required Qualifications
