This is a high-impact role that blends technical leadership with strategic execution in a fast-evolving digital landscape!Position Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality engineering automation to enhance the overall quality and reliability of software productsDesign and implement automated test strategies for AEM Cloud applications using tools such as Selenium, BrowserStack, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, etc.Establish processes & tools to maintain automation scripts and generate reports for faster bug tracking & reportingAnalyze automation results and investigate failuresDevelop test patterns to evaluate the solutions for performance, scalability, and reliabilityDrive software development process to ensure quality-centric methodologies; captures, records, and implements leading practices for continued QA improvementsPrepare and deliver formal quality audit reportsIdentify critical metrics for product quality and tracks the identified quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities, defect frequency, and first-time pass rateCollaborate with multi-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to define quality standards and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)Collaborate with AEM developers to validate component-level functionality, content authoring workflows, and integration points with backend servicesControl, update and distribute new and revised quality standards and technical changesOversee the setup and maintenance of test environments, including cloud-based testing infrastructure and service virtualizationStay up-to-date on the latest frontend and backend technologies and trends, consistently improving skills and competencies to address diverse application challengesMentor and guide other team members on QA/QE practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in testing practicesDevelop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, performance, and security testing across web and mobile platformsRequired Qualifications:10–15 years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance, with a strong track record in large-scale, complex software environmentsProven experience in testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud applications, including Sites, Assets, and integrationsFamiliarity with closed system and known testing practices and open-source testing frameworksExperience in developing and performing manual / automated testsHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with version control systems like Git and code review toolsProficient in writing tools and automation scriptsExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive quality initiatives across teamsPreferred Qualifications:Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, and Postman/Swagger for API testingExperience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, SiteImprove or similar cross-browser testing platformsUnderstanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling is a plusKnowledge of security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite is a plusAbility to apply specific tools and techniques for Data and ML applicationsAbility to implement and improve QMS processes using SDLC leading practicesKnowledge in developing cloud-based applicationsUnderstand cloud fundamentalsWhen you join our team:We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.About Manulife and John HancockManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
