Job Description

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain performance analytics tools, including the Senior Loan Sylvan performance IRR module using Python.Design, enhance, and deliver Power BI reporting solutions that provide meaningful insights for Investment, Fund Valuation, Performance, and Client Reporting stakeholders.Build and support centralized SQL database capabilities for private markets data, including automation of Power BI report generation.Lead and coordinate automation initiatives, including the Bloomberg Port/Aladdin upload process, to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Support daily performance data validation and compliance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.Qualifications:University degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; CFA candidacy or designation is considered an asset. ​Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.Strong technical skills, including SQL database knowledge, advanced Excel modelling, and experience with Python; Power BI expertise is preferred.Solid understanding of Private Assets and Fixed Income performance measurement, attribution, and related reporting processes.Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional work, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Strong planning, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with Copilot Studio is an asset.When you join our team:We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.The role being advertised is an existing vacancy.About Manulife and John HancockManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
