Summer 2027 Intern – Retirement Sales At Manulife John Hancock, we believe in investing in the future – starting with you. Our Retirement Sales Internship Program is your launchpad to success, offering the support, structure, and exciting opportunities you need to thrive and make your mark. This internship program provides students with an immersive professional learning experience in retirement sales at John Hancock. Designed to build a pipeline of future talent, this program exposes interns to sales strategy, financial products, and client engagement while working alongside Internal Sales leadership and business partners. Students will gain practical knowledge of investments and sales systems, sharpen their professional skills, and expand their networks across the organization. Position Responsibilities Learn foundational industry knowledge including investments, financial products, privacy/compliance, and the John Hancock business model. Train on core sales systems such as Salesforce, Brightscope Beacon, investment comparison tools, and other prospecting resources. Support retirement sales divisions by conducting research, preparing reports, and contributing to internal projects. Participate in networking sessions with subject matter experts across departments including National Accounts, Investments, Marketing, and Product. Engage in professional development workshops and coaching from sales leaders and the L&D team. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Sales, Business Administration or related fields. Strong academic performance and genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance or sales post-graduation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior internship, co-op, or work experience in financial services, sales, or client-facing roles. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or other sales enablement platforms. Demonstrated leadership experience through prior roles, campus involvement, or extracurricular activities. Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, enthusiasm for client engagement, and strong relationship-building skills.
