We are looking for a Food & Beverage Reservation Agent to join our vibrant team and help create unforgettable experiences across our award-winning dining venues.
About the RoleAs our Food & Beverage Reservation Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests seeking to dine or host events with us. You will manage enquiries, coordinate bookings, and support the delivery of seamless, memorable experiences across our venues including:
- Peppina – our signature restaurant led by celebrated Tasmanian chef Massimo Mele
- Deco Lounge – elegant all-day dining and drinks, indoors and al fresco
- Mary Mary – a premium bar featuring a world-class spirits and cocktail program
- In-Room Dining – elevated guest experiences paired with our Executive Chef’s culinary vision
This role is ideal for someone who excels in communication, is highly organised, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all Food & Beverage enquiries via phone and email
- Coordinate Private Dining Room and outlet event bookings
- Liaise with Food & Beverage, Catering & Events, and Sales teams
- Create and distribute menus, event orders, signage and schedules
- Maintain accurate reservation and event details in booking systems
- Deliver warm, personalised guest service that reflects The Tasman’s luxury standards
- Uphold compliance, food safety and responsible service of alcohol procedures
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and tasks
- A professional, positive and collaborative attitude
- Ability to work across various shifts if required
Previous experience in reservations, hospitality or events is highly regarded.
