Job Title: Marketing Executive In-house (IPC)Department: MarketingWorking RelationshipsReports to: IPC Team Leader / ManagerInterfaces with: Marketing Associates, Admin Associates, Hospitality Associates, CustomersPosition Summary:To efficiently generate qualified prospects staying at Playa Andaluza/Marbella Beach Resort to come to the Preview Centre for a sales presentation, to book clients on Virtual Sales presentations when requested, and to harvest owner referrals. To assist in the tracking of current marketing programs according to the standards and professionalism adhered to by the MVC Corporation.Essential Job FunctionsThrough professional persuasion, generate qualified prospective purchasers to attend Marriott’s Playa Andaluza Resort (MPA) or Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort (MMBR) sales presentation.Qualify clients according to the “details of participation” of any given programme. To also be able to diplomatically explain promotion terms and conditions to guests that may qualify for a general information tour (GI).Coordinate appointments and the time of arrivals with the front desk at the Sales Centre.Provide appropriate information to all clients with accuracy, attention to detail and product knowledge.Maintain a positive attitude with everyone you come into contact with at your location. Develop a positive relationship with all staff and adhere to standard protocol as established by the General Manager.Locations must be clean, polished and tidy at all times, and the log book at the location must be filled in whenever necessary.Provide creative suggestions for new programmes or improvements to current marketing programmes in order to maximise efficiency in sales/guest/owner relations.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe responsibility of the IPC is to send in-house guests staying at Marriott’s Playa Andaluza or Marbella Beach Resort to the Preview Centre at MMBR and MPA for a 90 minute Sales Presentation and encourage Owners to participate in FriendShare. It is the duty of the IPC to contact the guests with the aim to build a relationship with them.IPC’s are allocated their own set of clients to work with 2 weeks in advance by the IPC Manager/Assistant.The IPC duties are to maintain contact with their allocated guests and include:Welcome Letters or E-mails.Welcome Calls to set appropriate times to meet with their guests to receive their Welcome Pack. During meetings entice the guests to book a presentation in the Preview Centre/Sales Gallery.Distributing personalised invitations (for example: an invite for a Monday evening cocktail. This would be followed up by a telephone call to encourage the guest to attend. The IPC would be present at the cocktail evening to greet and attend to their guests and be available to explain their welcome packs and answer queries).Attend to any problems or concerns the guests may have.To promote the Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort and Marriott’s Playa Andaluza, and MVC, to the guest with the aim to book them in for a Sales Presentation during their stay.Liaise with the MPA and MMBR Reception to book in the guests on their Sales Presentation.When a guest does not specify a particular date and time, the IPC will issue an open invitation and is responsible for maintaining constant contact with the guest to ensure that all is done to make an appointment for the guest at the Sales Gallery/Preview Centre. This includes a chase-up letter delivered to the guest’s apartment and telephoning the guest to encourage them to visit the Preview Centre.IPC is also responsible for encouraging their allocated guests to participate in the FriendShare programme.IPC may also be asked to offer a virtual sales presentation or a holiday preview package to clients who they were unable to capture for a sales presentation whilst they were staying onsite.Area of Accountability:Assist new coordinators in making the transition to their new position. Act as a role model for new associates.Keep track of personal progress and goals.
