Company:MarshDescription:Team Leader Energy & Power and Casualty ClaimsWe are seeking a Team Leader to join our Energy & Power and Casualty Claims Advocacy team at Marsh Pacific. This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.This role supports the Head of Energy & Power and Casualty Claims Advocacy and plays a key part in leading the team, managing client relationships and delivering high-quality claims advice. You will work with clients, brokers, insurers and internal teams to resolve complex claims issues and support business growth. The role also involves coaching team members, improving processes and contributing to a collaborative claims environment.We will count on you to:Act as a key point of contact for the team on technical, administrative and people-related mattersSupport the Head of Energy & Power and Casualty Claims Advocacy in managing workload, priorities and team performanceProvide proactive technical advice to clients on indemnity, policy coverage and claims strategyManage moderate to high complexity claims and liaise with clients, insurers, claimants and external providersBuild productive client and broker relationships, respond to queries and prepare reports and claims trend analysisCoach, develop and support team members, including onboarding new starters and facilitating regular team meetingsContribute to new business, client retention and continuous improvement initiatives across the Claims Advocacy teamWhat you need to have:Experience in claims management, client service or a related insurance environmentExperience working with an insurer, broker or loss adjusterExperience in claims handling across contract work, ISR, third-party liability and or environmental linesWell-developed stakeholder management skillsProven ability to communicate clearly, manage priorities and work effectively with clients, brokers and internal stakeholdersWhat makes you stand out:Diploma in Financial Services or a bachelor’s degreeExperience leading or coaching others in a team environmentCapability in handling complex claims, negotiating outcomes and supporting business development activitiesWhy join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leadersWe foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communitiesOur scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-beingAbout Marsh:Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) is a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
